Defining Hypnotherapy

Hypnotherapy is an evidence-based methodology to tap into the power of your subconscious to use your mind to resolve problems and take back control of your life. Everyone is susceptible to going into a trance state but no trained hypnotherapist can “make you quack like a chicken” or any other embarrassing behavior. The therapeutic focus is on your emotions..the release and/or extinction of anger, fear, sorrow and/or shame to solve inner emotional conflicts.

The human mind is extremely suggestible and is being bombarded by suggestive stimuli from the outside and thoughts and ideas from you. People often suffer as a consequence of “negative” thoughts and impulses invading the subconscious mind. In hypnotherapy, we attempt to replace these with “positive” attitudes. Commitment to this healing process is key.. improvements occur and other issues may arise.. like peeling an onion.. but personal commitment and perseverance are key.
